Porter House
Job Type: New Home
Location: Royalla, NSW
Year Completed: 2025
Price: $1,200,000
Nestled amongst the rolling landscapes of Royalla, NSW, Porter House is a thoughtfully designed new home that embraces its natural surroundings while delivering modern, high-performance living.
Although not a certified Passive House, the home was carefully designed around solar passive principles, with particular attention given to orientation, thermal performance and energy efficiency to maximise year-round comfort. Constructed as a fully off-grid residence, the project demonstrates how sustainable living can be achieved without compromising on style, comfort or functionality.
The architectural design combines contemporary masonry with lightweight rendered elements to create a timeless exterior that sits comfortably within the surrounding landscape. A standout feature of the home is its extensive glazing package, supplied by Solace Creations. Featuring a carefully selected combination of uPVC double and triple-glazed windows, the glazing was designed to maximise thermal performance while framing the property's breathtaking southern outlook and flooding the home with natural light.
To validate the home's performance, Hardwick Projects carried out a blower door (airtightness) test at completion, achieving an outstanding result that reflects the quality of construction and attention to detail throughout every stage of the build. It's another example of our commitment to delivering homes that not only look exceptional but perform exceptionally for years to come.
Inside, every detail has been thoughtfully considered. Premium fixtures, designer tapware and refined finishes are complemented by warm timber elements, creating interiors that feel both sophisticated and connected to the surrounding landscape.
Delivered ahead of schedule, Porter House is a testament to collaborative planning, quality craftsmanship and a shared vision between client, designer and builder, resulting in a home that is as practical as it is beautiful.
