While the footprint changed very little, the original kitchen lacked functionality, interrupted the natural flow through the space and blocked natural light, making what was a generous room feel dark and enclosed.

By opening up the layout, introducing skylights and creating a picture window through to the living room, we flooded the home with natural light and reconnected each space. The result is a brighter, more open home that feels infinitely more inviting.

The hero feature is undoubtedly the Pink Patagonia Quartzite island bench. Lovingly chosen by our clients, its dramatic natural veining creates a stunning focal point, beautifully complemented by warm natural timber joinery and the original slate flooring, which honours the home's existing character.
